Simplicity
I love tinkering with CSS and HTML – I used to be a fan of GeoCities. However, the problem with the internet today is that it lacks simplicity. The Bear blog is easy to use and loads quickly, so even though I created my own template, I reverted to Bear’s default template. And I can say now: I do love this simplicity. And the simplicity is the thing one needs to anchor in one place for a long time. Especially when the person needs some room to write, jot things down, take notes and so on...
We look for friendly algorithms, but they are hardly ever friendly to people: they were made for businesses and shareholders. Bloggers are on the other end of the spectrum.
